Privacy Notice (KVKK)
1. Data Controller
This notice is provided by Şenay Sigorta Aracılık ve Danışmanlık Hizmetleri ("Şenay Sigorta" or the "Agency") acting as data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). 2. Personal Data Processed
- Identity data: first and last name,
- Contact data: e-mail address, phone number,
- Request data: the insurance line you are interested in and the information you share in your message,
- Transaction security data: technical records such as IP address, browser and device information (kept automatically by our hosting and security infrastructure).
Please do not include special categories of data (e.g. health data) in the message field; for health insurance requests, any necessary information will be collected from you separately and in the proper manner.
3. Purposes of Processing
- Receiving, evaluating and responding to your information and quote requests,
- Providing information about insurance products and preparing quotes,
- Contacting you about your request (e-mail, phone, WhatsApp),
- Fulfilling legal obligations and evidencing transactions in potential disputes,
- Ensuring the security of the website and preventing misuse.
4. Legal Bases
Your data is processed under Article 5/2 of the KVKK on the grounds that processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, is necessary for the controller to comply with its legal obligations, or is necessary for the legitimate interests of the controller provided your fundamental rights are not harmed; in other cases, processing is based on your explicit consent.
5. Transfers
Your data may be shared, only to the extent necessary, with the insurance companies we work with for preparing quotes, and with authorised public authorities where legally required. As part of our hosting and e-mail delivery infrastructure, your data may be processed on servers located abroad by service providers (e.g. Cloudflare, Resend) subject to appropriate safeguards; such processing is based on the explicit consent you give when submitting the form.
6. Collection Method
Your data is collected through the request form on our website and via e-mail, phone and WhatsApp, by partly or fully automated means.
7. Retention
Your data is retained for as long as required by the processing purposes and, in any case, for the limitation periods prescribed by applicable law, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
8. Your Rights under Article 11
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose of processing, know the third parties to whom data is transferred, request correction or deletion, request notification of such actions to third parties, object to results arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems, and claim compensation for damages. You may submit requests in writing to the address above or via the contact channels on this site, together with information verifying your identity. Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest. You retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.
